Core Beliefs

  • God created Adam and Eve to live in harmony with each other and Himself, but their disobedience and selfish desire brought with them the penalty of death and a world impacted by sin (Genesis 3). God set forth to redeem the world and eventually offered His own Son as the sacrifice for the sins of the world (Genesis 3, John 3:16). Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Luke 4:41) (second member of the trinity[John 1:14]) who died on the cross (2 Corinthians 5:15) but was resurrected three days later conquering death (2 Timothy 1:10). Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins will not die a spiritual death but will live forever (1 John 1:19). Jesus will come back to earth at the right time, once He has prepared a place for us (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

  • We believe, without falter, that the Bible is the infallible, inspired Word of God. It is good for teaching, reproof, and correction. The Bible is the primary source for understanding and knowing God.

  • God exists as Trinity, three-in-one, and is eternal, infinite, loving, just, faithful, gracious, merciful, and so much more. He is the Creator of the universe and has sent His Son to die on the cross for the sins of the damned.

  • It is only by grace through faith in God the Father and the work of Jesus Christ on the cross that we can be saved. From before the beginning of time, God has planned for the redemption of mankind and offered up Himself as the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf.

  • We believe, as stated in God’s Word, that the family unit is to be centered on Christ. This means marriage is between one biological man and one biological woman for the purposes of companionship and procreation.
